A Clear Roadmap

Neurology is the field of medicine that focuses on the body’s most widespread and complex communication system. What we strive to provide for every patient:
Thoughtful, Unrushed Listening: You are heard—fully and without interruption. Every symptom, concern, and story matters in understanding the whole picture.
A Calm, Grounded Approach to Uncertainty: Not every symptom requires alarm—but every concern deserves careful evaluation. The goal is to replace fear with understanding and direction.
Personalized, Not Protocol-Driven Care: No two patients are the same. Care is individualized—based on your history, goals, and circumstances—not just algorithms.
Respect for the Whole Person: Neurological symptoms affect not just the body—but identity, independence, and daily life. Care extends beyond diagnosis to how you live with—and through—your condition.
Integrity and Honesty: Clear guidance—even when the answers are difficult, uncertain, or not what was hoped for. Trust is built through transparency.
This is neurology practiced with time, attention, and intention—centered on you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral from my primary doctor to see Dr. Frank?
In most cases, a formal referral is not required to schedule a consultation at You First Neuro. However, we highly encourage you to share any previous medical records or imaging results with us prior to your visit so Dr. Frank can provide the most informed and comprehensive evaluation possible.
What should I expect during my first neurological consultation?
Unlike the brief appointments common in large hospital systems, your first visit is a deep dive. Dr. Frank will perform a detailed neurological exam and spend significant time discussing your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle. The goal of this initial session is to move past surface-level symptoms to find a definitive diagnostic path.
I’ve already seen other neurologists without success. Can Dr. Frank help?
Yes. Many of our patients come to us for a second opinion after being evaluated at major medical centers. Dr. Frank’s 33 years of academic and clinical expertise allow him to look at complex, “unsolved” cases with a fresh perspective, often identifying underlying issues that may have been previously overlooked.
What types of conditions do you treat in a general consultation?
We evaluate a wide range of neurological concerns, including chronic migraines/headaches, memory loss or cognitive changes, unexplained numbness and tingling, dizziness, balance disorders, and seizure management. If your condition requires a sub-specialty intervention like Spravato® or Botox®, we can transition you directly into those treatment pathways.
